REFLECTIONS ON WEEK 1

1. I think that I have all the useful tools as far as to what can help me. The blogger app has been extremely helpful as far as posting and working on my blog. I just need to find a balance between schoolwork, tennis, and my other extracurricular activities.

2. The best learning experience I ever had was when I was volunteering at the Boy and Girls Club with Hannah Hurd over summer. There, we engaged with 6-10 year old children on science experiments. It was awesome to not only learn about the pure innocence of young children, but also to learn about myself. Never did I know that I loved kids so much! It made me realize that I wanted a career in working with young children. I especially admired their innocent questions and the sincerely confused looks on their faces. I was glad to answer their questions. I also found it very interesting how such intelligent remarks came out of such young souls.

3. I am most excited about improving my writing and being able to have intellectual conversations with fellow peers. I feel that this class gives an opportunity to address both elements. It will help me build a solid foundation for future, scholarly material.
